Designs process and mechanical piping systems, including P&IDs, piping plans, sections, elevations, and basic 3D models. Performs P&ID walkdowns, pipe routing, drawing reviews, redline updates, and interdisciplinary coordination. Organizes drawing packages, communicates project status, supports small project piping activities, and assists with mentoring junior designers. Requires increasing independence, technical accuracy, and proficiency with AutoCAD and related design tools.

Leads process and mechanical piping design for energy and industrial projects. Develops P&IDs, complex 3D piping models, site layouts, pipe routing, and project drawings using CADWorx and AutoCAD. Coordinates with engineers and other design teams, reviews work, mentors junior designers, applies industry codes, manages project deadlines, and supports standards development. The role requires field walkdowns, technical documentation, quality checks, and independent leadership of mid-sized or multiple small projects.

Performs basic redline drafting and revisions for P&IDs, PFDs, and BFDs using AutoCAD and CADWorx P&ID. Ensures drawing accuracy, professional presentation, back-checking, standards compliance, documentation, and timely delivery. Learns client-specific drafting procedures and communicates project details. Requires organization, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and flexibility to meet deadlines.
