Leads cross-functional technical programs across IonQ’s application platform, developer tools, and compiler roadmap. Translates technical vision into milestones, manages dependencies and risks, maintains planning and tracking systems, exposes technical debt and operational work, and reports data-driven status to senior leadership. The role supports approximately 40 engineers across four teams and requires navigating ambiguity, technical tradeoffs, staffing, customer-facing work, and AI-driven program-management workflows.

Leads end-to-end spacecraft programs from development through qualification, production, and delivery. Manages cross-functional engineering teams, schedules, budgets, risks, technical requirements, procurement, subcontractors, and interdependencies across a project portfolio. Provides strategic prioritization, data-driven decision-making, executive communication, and mentorship to program managers and team members. Requires aerospace hardware program expertise and familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum frameworks.

Lead technical programs across their full lifecycle, managing cross-functional teams, portfolios, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication. Translate technical requirements into delivery plans, prioritize initiatives, track progress, and drive data-informed decisions. The role supports component upgrades, design, and spacecraft integration while mentoring project resources and applying waterfall, agile, and scrum methodologies in a fast-paced aerospace and national security environment.
