Responsibilities include electrode application, equipment setup and cleaning, infection control, patient communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and handoff to remote EEG specialists. The role also includes on-call coverage, coordinating schedules, maintaining logs, and responding to new study orders. Requires CPR certification, reliable transportation, basic computer and networking skills, and the ability to work variable 12-hour shifts, weekends, and occasional overnight call.
