Leads and grows a substation physical engineering department serving utility clients. Oversees multidisciplinary teams, technical delivery, staffing, resource allocation, quality, safety, financial performance, client relationships, business development, and engineering standards. Provides executive oversight for substation design, grounding, lightning protection, station service, equipment selection, constructability, and engineering studies across distribution through 765kV transmission projects. Supports digital design workflows, 3D modeling, modernization, grid resiliency, construction, commissioning, and continuous improvement.

Supports energy efficiency and load management programs by maintaining and enhancing predictive analytics models. Analyzes large customer, energy usage, and marketing datasets; develops and executes code; validates analytical outputs; and prepares technical reports. The intern applies statistical and computational methods, integrates analyses with IT systems, and communicates technical findings to business and client stakeholders. This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship with hybrid or remote work options within the United States.

Provides programmatic, administrative, and analytical support for federal Head Start and Early Head Start grants. Responsibilities include reviewing applications and funding requests, documenting analyses in federal systems, supporting grant oversight and monitoring, identifying compliance issues, preparing recommendations and correspondence, developing technical assistance materials, and performing data collection and basic analysis. The role also supports national initiatives and requires attention to regulatory compliance, organization, communication, and coordination across regional and central offices.

Supports urban planning and design projects involving brownfield redevelopment, adaptive reuse, community revitalization, economic development, housing, transportation, and public realm improvements. Conducts research, data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization, market analyses, conceptual design, report development, and community engagement. Works with local, state, and federal clients and contributes to workshops, presentations, and other outreach activities.

Lead and manage post-disaster recovery housing programs with deep HUD CDBG-DR and FEMA Individual Assistance knowledge. Oversee staff and subcontractors, ensure regulatory compliance, validate construction quality, provide training and technical assistance, support business development, and liaise with clients. Remote Colorado role with travel and deployments.

Perform quantitative economic and technical analyses of U.S. power markets; develop long-term forecasts; evaluate renewable, storage, generation, and transmission investments; support interconnection, asset valuation, M&A due diligence, and client deliverables; enhance proprietary forecasting tools and support business development.
