Lead regional cost governance for North America, driving cost savings, P2P governance, cost validation, automation, and KPI reporting. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, manage and develop the cost control team, ensure system and audit compliance, and provide actionable analysis and insights to senior leadership to improve operational cost efficiency.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; maintain general ledger and enter journal entries in SAP; perform balance sheet reconciliations; prepare tax filings; support budgeting, forecasting and audit preparation; manage fixed assets and account analyses; maintain internal controls; resolve complex accounting issues and support other departments.

Provide administrative and operational support for sales execution: prepare quotations, follow up with customers, coordinate rate agreements and tenders, maintain customer data and Salesforce, assist handovers to Customer Service, and promote digital tools.

Lead the OPSS team to ensure operational data governance, master data accuracy, reporting and analytics, supplier oversight, and cost control. Coordinate inland shipments (rail, truck, barge, feeder vessel), handle customer inquiries, arrange transport and releases, monitor container dwell time, liaise with vendors, terminals, customs, and legal/insurance, ensure compliance with Hazmat/oversize rules, and use tools like Salesforce and QlikView to track work orders and resolve issues.

Coordinate planning and execution of cargo operations across the shipment lifecycle, including documentation review, load/discharge lists, DG handling, manifests, cost estimates for special cargo, reconciliations, work orders, terminal reports, and stakeholder coordination to ensure compliance and timely vessel finalization.
