Leads Gusto’s Employee Relations team, overseeing complex investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee exits. Coaches ER Partners and organizational leaders, ensures consistent policy application, partners with Legal on high-risk matters, and uses ER metrics to identify trends and reduce risk. Advises senior leaders through organizational change while balancing employee experience, fairness, compliance, and business needs. Promotes effective use of AI for case analysis and documentation while protecting sensitive information.

Build and operate AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu and Spacelift. Lead multi-account architecture migrations, develop reusable infrastructure modules, improve reliability and disaster recovery, support compliance, troubleshoot cloud environments, and automate recurring issues. Partner with engineering teams, strengthen observability and incident response, and participate in an internal infrastructure support on-call rotation. The role also drives multi-quarter platform initiatives with significant autonomy.

Leads a payroll and tax customer support team, coaching representatives, monitoring performance metrics, improving customer experience, and driving scalable processes. Partners cross-functionally with product and other teams to reduce inquiries, enhance tools, and support retention and growth. Uses data and AI to improve efficiency, develop employees, and implement organizational change in a regulated support environment.
