Insurance
Leads commercial surety underwriting for the Southwest region, overseeing risk selection, pricing, retention, growth, profitability, and compliance. Reviews underwriting decisions, evaluates financial and credit information, manages stakeholder relationships, supports timely business decisions, and coaches team members. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 9+ years of related experience, and at least 4 years of management experience. It involves in-office work and travel within the assigned territory.
Insurance
Manages crop insurance claims across Northwest Kansas and Northeast Colorado. Investigates coverage, liability, compensability, and damages through field inspections and agricultural analysis; negotiates settlements and reserves; authorizes payments; communicates with insureds and external partners; and maintains detailed claim files. The role is fully remote within the territory but requires outdoor fieldwork, physical activity, motor vehicle operation, and travel of up to 40%.
