Supports high-impact operations and supply chain projects in healthcare manufacturing. Interns may work in fulfillment, sourcing, lean manufacturing, or environmental health and safety, addressing material shortages, improving planning, reducing costs, implementing shop-floor improvements, and supporting compliance. The program develops technical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills through hands-on experience across GE HealthCare business areas.

Supports daily manufacturing operations by coordinating new product introductions, monitoring resources and defects, maintaining current production documentation, and ensuring quality, safety, and EHS compliance. Partners with production, engineering, planning, QA, and MRB teams to implement Lean process improvements, improve productivity, investigate quality issues, identify training needs, and support pilot production activities.

Hardware engineering interns complete summer projects in areas such as power electronics, embedded systems, RF design, electronic schematics and layouts, mechanical design using Creo, rapid prototyping, FEA, CFD, thermal management, reliability engineering, and design verification. Interns receive technical mentorship, participate in professional development, and contribute to healthcare technology projects.
