Support customer and government audits, document deviations, communicate issues to management, and ensure food-handling policies are followed. The role requires standing, bending, lifting, and working extended shifts in a hot, noisy production kitchen.

Supervise 30+ food production employees in a unionized environment while ensuring safety, quality, sanitation, HACCP, FDA, and USDA compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, training, labor and material costs, inventory, maintenance coordination, productivity goals, employee performance, and retention. Prepare operational reports, maintain required logs, enforce wage-and-hour policies, and support continuous performance improvement.

Lead continuous improvement for the operations unit by analyzing material and information flows, diagnosing cost drivers, and driving Lean initiatives (VSM, Kanban, 5S, JIT). Roll out standardization programs, propose and implement process changes, coach staff, develop training materials, present progress to leadership, and liaise with corporate CI resources to improve productivity, quality, safety, and space utilization.
