Supports commercial portfolio managers with loan underwriting, servicing, credit analysis, cash flow calculations, collateral evaluation, covenant compliance, and credit narrative preparation. Partners with bankers, relationship managers, clients, and internal departments to manage commercial credits and complete loan processes. The role requires financial statement analysis, risk identification, attention to detail, strong organization, and proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office.

Assists the Controller with bank accounting operations, internal controls, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll, investments, fixed assets, close processes, audits, regulatory reporting, tax support, and financial reporting. The role also supports software administration, financial systems implementation, and future supervision of accounting staff.

Manages a commercial credit portfolio, partnering with bankers to structure, underwrite, approve, and monitor commercial loans. Reviews financial statements, cash flow, collateral, covenants, and credit risks; prepares credit presentations and annual reviews; coordinates loan documentation and closings; monitors portfolio quality and exposure; identifies early warning signs; and works with clients to obtain financial information and manage loan modifications.
