Leads secure network engineering for defense ground systems across development, integration, testing, operations, and sustainment. Responsibilities include network architecture, cybersecurity compliance, COMSEC and cryptographic device management, MBSE artifacts, systems engineering, integration and test, vulnerability assessments, STIG and RMF documentation, TEMPEST protection, infrastructure installation, and operational support. The role also contributes to program schedules, technical reviews, risk management, and mission-partner interoperability, with up to 25% travel.

Creates, updates, validates, and reviews SATCOM technical documentation, including the Wideband Controller’s Guide. Tracks configuration management, develops training scenarios, maintains hardware and software configuration databases, and produces related documentation. The role supports US Space Force Space Operations Command and may require travel for instruction on new systems. It requires an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of technical writing and SATCOM experience.

Supports U.S. Space Force SATCOM operations by providing technical assistance, analysis, and informal training related to DSCS satellites and RSCCE ground systems. The role requires expertise in DSCS satellite control, payload operations, and RSCCE ground system operations and maintenance, along with travel to other sites and technical meetings as needed. The position is contingent on contract award and funding.
