Teams at Empower (empower)

Provides personalized retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer-sponsored plans. The role educates customers on retirement distributions, IRAs, investment products, and tax implications; manages inbound and outbound engagements; retains assets; resolves plan questions; and meets sales and service goals. Requires financial services experience, strong communication and consulting skills, and Investment Adviser Representative registration through Series 65 or an equivalent qualification.

Supports internal wholesalers in achieving sales goals for Empower’s 401(k) products. Builds relationships with advisors, third-party administrators, and plan sponsors; manages proposals and paperwork; ensures accurate data management and communication across departments; and applies consultative selling, analysis, organization, and follow-through. The role is designed to develop the associate into an Internal Sales Director responsible for assigned territories.

Supports internal wholesalers in achieving sales goals for Empower’s 401(k) products. Builds relationships with advisors, third-party administrators, and plan sponsors; listens to client needs; manages schedules and follow-up; assists with proposals and paperwork; and maintains accurate data and communication across departments. The role develops consultative selling, analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the goal of promotion to Internal Sales Director.
