Support clients managing FEMA-funded programs by ensuring compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, assessing audit readiness, expediting disaster closeouts, performing financial management and cost reconciliation, advising on program implementation, preparing client deliverables, and supporting business development. Role may require occasional extended hours and travel to client or firm locations.

Provide FEMA program compliance and financial support to state/local clients: ensure audit readiness, expedite disaster closeouts, manage cost tracking and reconciliation, advise on program implementation, and support business development and client deliverables.

Provide tax controversy support including IRS examinations and appeals, penalty abatement and collection matters, tax research and memoranda, account correspondence, and assistance with training and thought leadership.

Provide federal income tax research and analysis for partnerships, S and C corporations; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and due diligence; draft memos, firm alerts, and training materials; mentor and advance within the National Tax Office.

Lead national tax research and analysis on federal income tax issues including accounting methods, partnerships and LLCs; support M&A and internal restructurings; draft memos, firm-wide alerts, and trainings.
