Digital Fridge is creating and launching an app on the iPhone in November. Our app will help individuals manage their mobile media (photo, video, audio, notes, check-ins).
People are capturing and downloading more and more media every day. A recent study showed that Facebook has over 300 million pictures downloaded every day and this number continues to grow.
Facebook and Instagram have done a great job capturing and sharing, but there has been a gap in this space related to “how do I easily and quickly find a specific photo or video”. Digital Fridge is answering this question through our patent-pending tagging, our fun and easy fridges and stacks and our multi-collection process.
The idea for Digital Fridge was created out of a need to save the beautiful artwork of our children, it quickly grew into a way to manage all of our family's digital media (photos, videos, audio, notes, check-ins) as well as our non-digital items (drawings, birthday and anniversary cards, newspaper clippings, old report cards, etc...). The fridge in my house is where our memories collect so creating a Digital Fridge seemed like a perfect way to perform this on a mobile device.
We want to be a technology that helps our users share their life, their way and to be able to "Remember When...".

Digital Fridge is the next step in managing your Mobile Media (pictures, videos, audio, notes and check-ins). It is creating a way to not only capture and share your media, but more importantly, find your media.
We have all had an experience where we are with friends or family reminiscing and we think of a photo or video that we want to share with them. We open up our camera roll, or Facebook, etc.. and we attempt to find the media. Many times we can’t find it quickly and the moment is gone!
Digital Fridge is answering these difficult media management failures, and it’s doing it in a nostalgic, fun, and easy way. We have all grown up with pictures, newspaper clippings, drawings, etc... posted on our fridges. We are creating a Digital Fridge for you to post those same things to, just on your mobile device.
This fun and nostalgic method will create engagement between you and your friends. And our social sharing and simple privacy settings make the whole process easy! Create a fridge for your family, then one for your friends, then one for your sports team, and so on. Never again will you have to flip through a camera roll, hoping you find the photo or video that you are looking for.
