Mechanical Engineering Intern supporting the design of building mechanical systems, including plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and utility distribution. Responsibilities include preparing engineering calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets under a Professional Engineer’s supervision. The intern will collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors, contribute to quality control, and participate in professional development activities.

Performs geospatial data management, analysis, visualization, and analytical modeling for government and commercial clients. Supports hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk reduction efforts using ArcGIS and Microsoft tools. Develops web, mobile, and desktop applications; tests, deploys, documents, and maintains solutions. This non-full-time, on-call role requires frequent travel and deployment to disaster recovery sites nationwide.
