Teams at Denver Rescue Mission

The Legacy Giving Officer develops and manages Denver Rescue Mission’s planned giving program, secures estate gifts, cultivates and stewards donor households, and coordinates communications, events, and marketing materials. The role tracks donor engagement and gift commitments in Salesforce, manages vendors, legal counsel, estate administration, budgets, and external professional relationships. It also supports donor-facing education, public speaking, reporting, and strategic growth of legacy giving.

Provides intensive, housing-focused case management for people experiencing homelessness and clients with complex, high-acuity needs. Develops individualized plans, coordinates healthcare, mental health, benefits, legal, employment, veterans, and housing services, facilitates appointments, advocates with community providers, and documents services in SCRIBE/HMIS. Transports clients to appointments, maintains confidentiality and case records, collaborates across teams, and supports transitions to long-term programs and sustainable housing.

Provide day-to-day operational oversight, safety, and guest services at a shelter. Responsibilities include intake and check-in, maintaining facility safety and cleanliness, coordinating activities and services, recordkeeping in HMIS systems (SCRIBE, Clarity), responding to emergencies, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting guests toward stability while upholding organizational policies and confidentiality.
