Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Leap quantum-classical hybrid cloud platform. Collaborate with product owners and architects across the SDLC to deliver features, troubleshoot and tune production systems, write clean maintainable code, participate in code reviews and on-call rotation, and mentor junior engineers to improve engineering practices and platform scalability.

Lead end-to-end development of high-value U.S. government proposals for quantum hardware R&D. Identify funding opportunities, build business cases, coordinate cross-functional teams for budgeting/resourcing, ensure compliance and submission quality, integrate AI tools compliantly, and engage government program managers while tracking federal spending and competitor activity.

Develop and maintain calibration, automation, and tooling software for quantum processors. Design and implement front-end and back-end systems, APIs, and databases; troubleshoot performance issues; collaborate with scientists and engineers; and mentor junior engineers.
