Leads regional sales strategy and revenue growth for an LTL freight business. Manages, coaches, and evaluates outside sales representatives; builds customer relationships; identifies new business opportunities; monitors market trends and competitors; tracks activities in Salesforce; manages regional budgets; and collaborates cross-functionally to meet customer needs and sales targets.

Manages strategic relationships with enterprise customers, including onboarding, go-live readiness, account planning, retention, revenue growth, escalated issue resolution, and strategic business reviews. Partners with sales and operations to align services with customer objectives, monitors account performance through dashboards and analysis, identifies operational risks, and develops effective solutions. The role requires transportation-industry knowledge, strong communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts.

Supervise daily LTL freight operations, including safe loading and unloading, driver and dock personnel management, scheduling, hiring, training, and discipline. Monitor damaged and misrouted shipments, implement corrective actions, coordinate vehicle maintenance, resolve customer freight issues, and ensure accurate paperwork and compliance with company policies.

Manages auto liability, workers’ compensation, property damage, and vehicle damage claims. Investigates claims, coordinates reserves and escalations with insurers, directs defense counsel, participates in mediations and depositions, and prepares claims reports. Ensures regulatory compliance, supports return-to-work and modified-duty documentation, negotiates settlements, and recommends loss-prevention measures. The role requires strong claims administration, investigative, analytical, negotiation, communication, and independent decision-making skills.

Lead the Weight & Research team to ensure accurate freight classification, weighing, and billing. Oversee inspections, dimensioning and scale compliance, analyze KPIs, resolve classification disputes using NMFC, drive process improvements, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to protect revenue and maintain regulatory compliance.

Generate and qualify leads, advance sales pipeline, close new business, support outside sales administratively, maintain prospect/customer database, and meet revenue goals through calls, email, and occasional in-person outreach.
