Leads a liability claims team by supervising investigations, file assignments, reserves, settlements, compliance, workload distribution, and timely claim closures. Establishes performance standards, conducts reviews, develops employees, administers personnel policies, and supports client claim reviews. Advises senior claims leadership, manages workflows in the Risk Tech Claim System, and trains staff on claims processes and systems.

Investigates, evaluates, and resolves complex liability claims independently. Reviews policy coverage, determines liability, establishes reserves, negotiates settlements, manages litigation strategy with defense counsel, identifies subrogation opportunities, prepares reports, and supports team development through training and mentoring.

Investigates and settles complex workers’ compensation claims, evaluates coverage, liability, compensability, reserves, payments, subrogation, and litigation strategy. Prepares claims reports, supports claim reviews, manages legal coordination, and ensures timely, equitable settlements. The role also trains and mentors new hires while operating independently under established authority.
