Lead BESS engineering across development, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Develop technical specs, optimize system designs, ensure fire safety and regulatory compliance, qualify vendors, support EPC coordination, and maintain tools for sizing and performance assumptions.

Support and manage utility-scale solar, wind, and storage project development across the U.S. West—from siting, permitting, interconnection, and design through contracting, financing, and handover. Coordinate stakeholders and consultants, perform development due diligence, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with Land, Engineering, Origination, Project Finance, and Construction teams to advance projects to commercial operation.

Lead commercial integration for late-stage wind, solar, storage, and digital projects. Support due diligence, contract review, financial modeling, budgeting, compliance, and project handoff. Drive process improvements, information-sharing systems, and cross-functional coordination to ensure commercial operations and agreement compliance.

Lead origination, valuation, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and closing of utility-scale renewable and storage project acquisitions. Support development, financing, pricing/offtake strategy, market analysis, and strategic partnerships. Build financial models, prepare investment memos, and improve analytical tools to drive M&A and development growth.

The Senior Counsel will provide legal advice on procurement and operations, draft contracts, represent the company in negotiations, and supervise outside counsel. This role requires expertise in construction and renewable energy projects.

Support competitive sourcing and procurement for BESS equipment: execute RFx processes, evaluate bids, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, support negotiations and contract administration, maintain trackers and procurement documentation, produce market intelligence and monthly reporting, and assist with vendor management and project financing diligence.

Develop and deploy production optimization and forecasting models for BESS, renewables, and gas assets; build CWENQuant platform and data pipelines; perform pricing, mark-to-market, due diligence, and trading/risk analytics; benchmark and improve models; communicate insights to support commercial, trading, and asset management decisions.

Lead end-to-end EPC procurement and contracting for wind, solar, and BESS projects: RFP/RFx development, bidder qualification, bid evaluation/levelization, commercial negotiations, risk allocation across agreements, stakeholder alignment, contract administration, market intelligence, and support for financing and process improvements.

Provide legal advice and draft, review, and negotiate project and financing documents (PPAs, tax equity, debt/cash financing); support acquisitions/dispositions, litigation management, regulatory matters; supervise outside counsel; work cross-functionally to guide projects through lifecycle and improve contracting processes.
