Civic News Company

Civic News Company is a nonprofit publisher and parent organization for Chalkbeat, Votebeat, and Healthbeat. Its local-first newsrooms provide accurate, unbiased, subject-specific reporting on education, election administration and voting, and public health, with coverage rooted in the communities they serve. The organization aims to help people understand how America works so they can improve it, and measures its impact through informed civic debate and action rather than clicks or profit.
