Lead and supervise engineering team for planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of utility substations and distribution systems. Produce specifications, calculations, design drawings, estimates, and technical reviews; support construction as Owner's Engineer, perform site surveys and job-walks, and mentor junior engineers. Interface with customers and ensure compliance with industry and customer standards, protection philosophies, and power system modeling for microgrid and distribution projects.

Supervise and mentor a team of drafters/designers while developing, checking, and coordinating substation and microgrid electrical designs and drawings. Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and company drafting practices, perform design reviews and field verifications, manage project deliverables, and provide technical support to customers. Oversee updates to company design standards and participate in coordination and commissioning activities.

Design, develop, and maintain electrical distribution and substation systems. Perform site surveys, prepare engineering calculations, estimates, drawings, and GIS updates. Build power system models in ETAP, analyze faults and power quality, coordinate protection relays, support field commissioning, prepare bills of material and specs, and assist construction and estimating through project lifecycle.

Lead technical development for pursuit-stage opportunities: define scope, produce concept deliverables (one-line diagrams, layouts, specs, BOMs), support proposal integration, perform go/no-go screening, coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders, transition winning concepts into execution, represent the firm externally, mentor junior staff, and support business growth for microgrids, energy storage, renewables, substations, distribution upgrades, and SCADA/automation projects.

Lead design and technical delivery for substations, distribution, microgrids, and SCADA projects. Perform power system studies, prepare engineering deliverables, support procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning while ensuring code compliance, safety, and stakeholder coordination across the full project lifecycle.

Lead development of large-scale EPC and design-build proposals for power and energy projects (substations, T&D, microgrids, BESS). Coordinate engineering, procurement, estimating, and construction teams; develop technical solutions, execution plans, risk mitigation, and client presentations. Manage proposal schedules, supplier/subcontractor engagement, and legal/regulatory coordination to win federal and commercial projects.
