The Human Resources Business Partner manages recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, HR records, position management, leave administration, compliance reporting, employee relations support, payroll, benefits, finance, and budget activities. The role requires maintaining accurate records, protecting sensitive information, supporting employees and managers, and ensuring HR operations comply with policies and regulations. The position is on-site with the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

Leads Safe Routes to School programs, school-community engagement, active transportation events, policy and systems change efforts, grant reporting, data collection, communications, volunteer coordination, and coalition programming. Builds relationships with schools and public agencies, supports travel plans and educational initiatives, navigates permitting processes, evaluates outcomes, and supervises up to two part-time advocates. The position is grant-funded through June 2028 and operates in a hybrid Denver workplace.

Provides intermediate-level legal and litigation support to municipal attorneys, including case file management, legal research, document drafting, discovery, privilege review, electronic filing, calendaring, trial preparation, title searches, and coordination of witnesses and exhibits. The role supports transactional and litigation matters involving municipal law, contracts, procurement, real estate, and regulatory issues.
