Bizantu was created as a solution to our problem of obtaining too much information and then not being able to capitalize on it. This app allows you, the user, to:
Identify: key data on a site using your mobile device;
Track: your findings in an easy and intuitive fashion, and;
Share: your work with clients and business partners.

Company History

Bizantu, a Colorado Limited Liability Corporation, was formed in October 2011 as a partnership between Bizantu, Inc. and Crosbie Real Estate Group, LLC (CREG). The company's CEO, Todd Phelps, originally created the legacy product RE-Trax in 2009 as an in-house site selection tool for his real estate consulting firm, Phelps Capital Management (PCM).

As a real estate/site selection consultant for several national retailers, Todd realized that he needed a more effective way to track and share potential real estate opportunities for his clients. Using rudimentary programming skills, RE-Trax was born and utilized by PCM.

The result was PCM grew in revenues by 85% in 2010 and 125% in 2011. In 2010, Todd wanted to improve on version 1.0 and outsourced the development with the ultimate goal of creating a product that could be sold to those involved in site selection of retail locations. Development of this product continued into 2011 when Todd partnered with the team at Ideas by Nature (Jon, Phil, CJ, Chris) and slowly created Bizantu as it is today
