Build strategic plans, co-marketing programs, partner narratives, sales enablement, technical content, event presence, announcements, and partner-facing digital assets. Translate product positioning for partners, coordinate cross-functional campaigns, track pipeline and campaign impact, and strengthen Backblaze’s profile through joint content, events, and thought leadership. Requires deep B2B technology and partner marketing experience, technical fluency in cloud storage and AI data workflows, and approximately 25% travel.

Lead the full Computer Backup engineering organization across desktop and backend teams. Set technical direction, architecture, delivery strategy, roadmap priorities, budget, and engineering quality standards. Manage managers and distributed teams while participating in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical problem-solving. Ensure reliability, performance, testing, and maintainability, improve agile processes and productivity, and promote AI-assisted development practices. Partner with product and senior leadership on scope, risks, trade-offs, customers, and long-term organizational decisions.

Lead the Site Reliability Engineering organization, managing and developing technical teams while driving reliability, scalability, observability, automation, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include infrastructure automation, vulnerability management, incident response, SLA and SLO analysis, monitoring improvements, post-incident reviews, ITIL processes, vendor coordination, and cross-functional reliability initiatives for large-scale production storage systems.
