Provides hands-on HR partnership for the Great Plains Business Unit. Responsibilities include employee relations investigations, employment-law compliance, performance management, leadership coaching, recruiting and onboarding support, workforce planning, HR operations, process improvement, and workforce reporting. The role partners with leaders to execute people strategies, improve engagement and effectiveness, and support decision-making through HR data and metrics.

Set up and maintain safe work zones, manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles, collaborate with team members, work long shifts in various weather conditions, and follow safety procedures to protect workers and motorists.

Supervise flaggers and perform traffic control/flagging tasks to maintain safe work zones. Implement and adjust Traffic Control Plans, place signs, barricades, cones, and document work. Work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 75 lbs regularly, and follow company, federal, state, and local safety standards. Complete on-the-job apprenticeship training.
