Leads global data center colocation infrastructure projects from feasibility and design through procurement, fit-out, commissioning, and handover. Designs colocation white space and develops statements of work, coordinates vendors during implementation, and manages space, power, cooling, and critical-infrastructure delivery. The role requires independent judgment, complex problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and strong understanding of data center infrastructure.

Provides Tier 2 support for a globally distributed data center network. Responsibilities include advanced routing and switching troubleshooting, fault isolation, incident escalation, network monitoring, performance optimization, documentation, hardware and circuit support, and collaboration with engineering and facilities teams. The role also contributes to automation, dashboards, process improvements, capacity planning, asset management, and major incident response.

Leads outside plant fiber engineering operations, including design reviews, splice and cut planning, field crew support, optical testing, troubleshooting, audit remediation, records integrity, and cross-functional turn-up coordination. Authors operational procedures, mentors junior engineers, and drives standards improvement. Requires extensive OSP engineering and hands-on fiber splicing experience, advanced OTDR analysis, GIS proficiency, and familiarity with live telecom or data center infrastructure.
