Conducts cybersecurity control, vulnerability, software assurance, threat, and risk assessments for complex defense systems. Performs research, data gathering, gap analysis, capability maturity assessments, and develops cybersecurity improvement implementation plans. Supports vulnerability assessments, control development, security documentation, penetration testing, and Risk Management Framework activities while using tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, and ACAS.

Develop and maintain simulation scenarios, analytical tools, and software applications supporting NORAD warning and attack assessment systems. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, agile development, coding, testing, validation, documentation, simulation installation, data analysis, and user coordination. The role requires software lifecycle expertise, DevSecOps knowledge, virtualization and containerization experience, database proficiency, and the ability to guide junior and mid-level engineers while supporting mission-critical defense systems.
