Designs and evaluates specialized mechanical equipment for nuclear projects. Responsibilities include machine design, component selection, controls integration, complex mechanical calculations, technical software use, quality compliance, project scope and budget management, mentoring engineers, and communicating with clients and management. The role includes occasional site visits, industrial environment exposure, and less than 10% travel.

Independently manages complex, high-value subcontracts across the full lifecycle, including acquisition planning, market research, solicitation, negotiation, award, modifications, performance monitoring, issue resolution, compliance, audit-ready documentation, and closeout. Advises program teams on subcontract risks, interprets FAR/DFARS requirements, conducts cost and price analysis, supports supplier selection, and leads process improvements while maintaining contractual and regulatory compliance.

Manage complex government subcontract portfolios through acquisition planning, solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, modification, performance monitoring, and closeout. Conduct market research, cost and price analysis, supplier evaluations, and negotiations while ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, contract flowdowns, audit-ready documentation, and risk control. Advise program teams, resolve supplier issues, protect sensitive information, and improve subcontract management processes.
