The role requires forecasting and procurement expertise, analytical and financial judgment, project and vendor management, and strong negotiation and intercultural communication skills.

Leads Akamai’s global Platform IAM engineering organization, overseeing managers, software engineers, and architects. Sets technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for scalable, resilient, low-latency identity and authorization systems. Ensures software development quality, safety, and performance while partnering across teams to convert business goals into technical milestones. Coaches and grows a distributed engineering organization and drives delivery of customer-facing IAM platforms.

Analyzes business problems, KPIs, forecasts, capacity, and quantitative models to support product strategy and operational excellence. Improves processes, standardizes global metrics, develops data-driven insights, and facilitates stakeholder business reviews for better decision-making and productivity.
