Provides technical leadership for advanced radar system development, technology roadmaps, capture strategies, customer engagement, IRAD efforts, intellectual property protection, and cross-divisional technical challenges. The role requires deep expertise in systems engineering, radar architecture, RF design, DSP, modeling, simulation, and product development. It also involves mentoring technical talent, presenting to executives and industry audiences, establishing external partnerships, and supporting business development. Significant travel of up to 30% is required.

Leads RF and microwave design strategy across aerospace and defense products, including receivers, transmitters, synthesizers, radar, data links, and SATCOM. Serves as the company-wide RF subject matter expert, owning technology roadmaps, architecture approvals, certification strategies, design reviews, qualification plans, and lifecycle issue resolution. Provides technical authority, mentors RF engineering teams, guides NPI and BTI activities, supports suppliers and customers, and drives design improvements, reuse, cost reduction, and development speed.

Leads cross-functional aerospace engineering projects for FAA-certified avionics systems. Responsibilities include defining scope and schedules, managing budgets, risks, technical issues, baseline changes, EVM, certification coordination, customer engagement, proposals, and status reporting. The role requires collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, certification, program management, and business teams while ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget.
