Manage and operate enterprise boundary/firewall systems, analyze logs and performance, troubleshoot and resolve firewall and network issues (including OpenBSD), configure DNS/BIND, implement backups, support VPN/ACLs/proxies, script UNIX solutions, assist deployments, and provide on-the-job training and LAN/WAN support.

Provide Tier 1 enterprise IT help desk and LAN/WAN support for AFCENT. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on network infrastructure, routers, switches, servers, firewalls, proxies and caching arrays; monitor performance; escalate complex incidents to Tier 2/3; perform LRA duties; support voice/video and provide 24/7/365 coverage and TDY CONUS support as required.

Analyze cyber intelligence and intrusion detection reports to assess and improve security posture on AFCENT networks. Produce reports, trend analyses, and POA&Ms; track IAVAs and security incidents; provide LAN/WAN and UNIX/Linux support; deliver on-shift training; and ensure AFCENT compliance with USCENTCOM policies.
