Next Wednesday, Google for Entrepreneurs will host its first Demo Day at Google headquarters in Mountain View, CA, and Denver-based GoSpotCheck will be one of 10 companies from across North America presenting.

Co-founded by Matt Talbot, Samantha Holloway and Joey Alfano, GoSpotCheck makes enterprise software to help collect, organize, and react to field data using mobile and web applications. Since its launch last year, it has added AB inBev, Panera and Dannon to its customer base.

Next week, GoSpotCheck's Talbot and Holloway will present to Steve Case, co-founder of America Online, venture capitalist Stephanie Palmeri and Google Ventures' MG Siegler. The audience of 100 will include leading local investors and venture capital firms. Each company will have five minutes to impress the panel.

This opportunity came about after Google for Entrepreneurs launched the North American Tech Hub Network last year. It created partnerships with top co-working and accelerator spaces in seven cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Denver’s own Galvanize, where GoSpotCheck was an original member.

Google then looked to these partners, which focus on educating and equipping entrepreneurs to succeed and building vibrant startup communities, to find game-changing, high-growth companies in their local markets.

Galvanize invited more than 150 startups from its community to apply to participate in Demo Day. Eight finalists pitched to a panel of Galvanize partners, and GoSpotCheck was selected as Galvanize’s representative to travel to Mountain View.

“We’re excited for them, as one of our original members," Galvanize co-founder Lawrence Mandes said. "To see them grow and expand has been awesome, and it’s a great story. This will be great exposure for Matt and his team, and we know they’ll do great.”

GoSpotCheck company grew out of Techstars the summer of 2011. “We originally were crowdsourcing retail data gathering,” said Talbot. “Then we identified a more acute problem in the market related to the tools large distribution companies were using.” Since launching in May 2013 with five employees, no revenue and no customers, the company now has a team of 13.

“We’ve had three years of preparation,” Talbot said. “We’ve just been out there trying to build our business. We have an incredible relationship with Galvanize, and great supporters. We’ve taken advantage of the melting pot here, and this central hub for the tech startup scene in Denver has given us great resources and exposure.”

Galvanize, which has expanded to a small space in San Francisco, will host a rooftop reception on Tuesday night. It has also invited all 10 presenting companies, as well as a venture capitalist, to use its space and practice their presentations with one another prior to Wednesday’s big event.

If you’d like to watch, register here to access the live stream of Demo Day pitches at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time Tuesday, April 2. The event will be live tweeted from @GoogleforEntrep using #DemoDay. Steve Case will host a Google+ Hangout after the demos, at 2:30 p.m. Mountain Time. RSVP here to participate.
