Sovrn Raises another $18M

Sovrn Holdings closed an $18 million funding round led by the Foundry Group. Other investors in the round included Oak Investment Partners, Archer Venture Acquisitions and John Battelle. Apto Raises $8M Series B

Denver-based Apto raised $8 million in a Series B funding round. The Adams Street Partners led the round, and Jeffery Diehl, a managing director at the firm, will join Apto’s board. MassRoots files for a place on the NASDAQ

The cannabis social network MassRoots filed for a spot on the NASDAQ. The company was founded two years ago, and at that time was forced to finance itself with the founder’s maxed out credit cards. MassRoots now boasts over 500 thousand users. [Built in Colorado]

Alteryx released Alteryx Analytics 10.0

The data blending and analytics company Alteryx announced the release of Alteryx Analytics 10.0 today. The company says their new software will allow big data analysts to greatly increase the speed and depth of their analytical analysis.
