Reed Group, a Colorado company providing content, services, and software for improving return-to-work outcomes and absence management, has achieved 15-20% annual growth for many years. To accommodate its current expansion and plans for an abundant future, it is relocating to new offices in Westminster.
This isn't physically far to go - its old headquarters are next door - yet this is a significant harbinger of change not just for Reed Group, but for the nation's entire workforce and healthcare system.
CEO David Roberts said that Reed Group has been considering the move since 2013. “The views and amenities are first-rate, and we know our people will appreciate a new space that is designed to promote a collaborative and technically-advanced work environment, with modern design and easy access to Denver and Boulder.”
Reed Group would like to be better known within Colorado and will take steps to build its local reputation and heavily promote its work in the coming years. Its current projects include SaaS software, data analytics projects, and building a better platform for its published content. Roberts said that he expects demand for Reed Group's products and services to spike dramatically, sooner rather than later.
Put simply, Reed Group focuses on the area of employee leave. Roberts said he sees many reasons to plan ahead for lots more work in the near future.
“There are a number of factors that will increase employee leave over time, including an expanding regulatory environment, an aging workforce, and higher incidence of health-related illness,” Roberts said. “For example, with over 100 new leave laws proposed into state legislatures in the past year, it is clear that managing employee leave is getting more complicated. Employers need expert help. We know that many employers approve nearly every leave request – it’s too hard for them to remain compliant and manage leave requests to the law. Reed Group can ensure compliance with regulation through services and technology and we can reduce disability durations with our duration guidelines and 100% clinically-managed model.”
