
Conga raises $47M in funding
Broomfield-based Conga is making big moves. The company recently announced that it has closed a $47 million funding round. The round was led by Insight Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures. Conga’s total VC funding is now $117 million. The funding will be used for the development of Conga’s Intelligent Document Automation products. Boomtown and COPIC launch patient safety healthtech accelerator
Boulder-based startup accelerator Boomtown and COPIC, a medical liability insurance provider, announced Wednesday that it will partner on a multi-year agreement to select and accelerate four to eight startups each year. The program will guide chosen founders through understanding data security and interoperability, HIPAA compliance, regulatory strategy, intellectual property and other topics. Kaltura acquires Boulder-based Rapt Media
Rapt Media was acquired by New York-based software company Kaltura. Rapt Media is a cloud-based interactive personalized video platform whose customers include Mercedes, EMC Dell and eBay. The financial terms of the deal were undisclosed. “Our goal is to automate the real-time creation of personalized video and extraction of rich metadata, to optimize their delivery at the right time to the right audience, and to offer them the most engaging video experience,” Ron Yekutiel, chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Kaltura said in a statement. Melanie Ryan Meador joins Redeam Inc.
Boulder-based Redeam Inc. has made a new addition to the team: Melanie Ryan Meador was named chief executive. Redeam is a tours and activities platform for travelers. She succeeds the company’s co-founder Kevin McLaughlin who will stay with the company as an advisor. Previously, Ryan Meador was chief operating officer and founder of Denver-based Meadors Masters Foundation. Before that, she was chief strategy officer at Fortrust. SonderMind raises $2.5M in funding
Denver-based mental health startup SonderMind raised $2.5 million in funding. The company matches therapists and patients. This funding round was led by Kickstart Seed Fund. Purple Arch Ventures, SpringTime Ventures, Service Provider Capital and Lanoha Ventures also participated in the round. Boulder-based Ball Aerospace will help build a NASA telescope
Ball Aerospace, a Boulder-based aerospace company said Wednesday that it has been picked to help build and develop the Wide Field Instrument Optical Mechanical Assembly for NASA's Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope.
