
ThrivePass raises $1.5M to improve employee wellness benefits
This week, Denver-based startup ThrivePass raised $1.5 million in funding to continue the growth of its employee benefits platform. The company helps businesses manage pre-tax benefits and employer-provided perks, with a focus on wellness and employee engagement. The company plans to use the investment to acquire third-party administrators that can process employee benefits claims. Cincinnati-based Astronomer expands into Colorado
Cincinnati, Ohio-based data engineering startup Astronomer announced plans to grow its Western presence with the launch of its Denver/Boulder office. The company plans to plug into the existing tech and startup community through Galvanize’s network of co-working spaces, presumably hiring people to work from either the Denver or Boulder branches. Digital automation intelligence firm TestPlant announced the acquisition of NCC Group’s Web Performance Division, adding a user-centric application performance platform to its existing offerings, as well as an accomplished team of testing, monitoring and data science experts.
