JumpCloud got $25M. The new capital marks the close of the Denver-based software company’s Series E, totaling the round at $100 million. Its platform provides users with a cloud-based management solution for employees’ identities and devices. LogRhythm acquired MistNet. With the acquisition of the threat-detection analytics platform, the Boulder-based company plans to deliver new capabilities on its platform for security professionals. Neat Capital raised $22.5M. Based out of Boulder, this company is aiming to lessen the workload on those applying for mortgage loans with its platform that automates processes like property pricing and underwriting. The Series B funding round was led by Left Lane Capital, bringing Neat’s total funding to $87 million. Colorado venture funding spiked near record highs in 2020. Nationwide, venture investments reached a record high in 2020, hitting a 14 percent increase over 2019. According to a new PwC report, companies in the state of Colorado collectively raised about $2.3 billion last year, and they secured $858 million of this amount in Q4 alone.
