Everywhere we turn there it is. Video is big, really BIG.You know this. We know this.

But what some small businesses may not know, or at least may not fully believe, is that video marketing is not that complicated or expensive to execute. And no, we’re are not saying “not complicated” while assuming that everyone codes on the side and edits their goPro footage with ease every weekend. You can be a complete newbie with a low budget and still use video marketing like a boss, you just need the right tools. Visibl is one such tool. We will make sure that we get your video in front of the right people. We got that, we own that, we are those people.

And with so many users launching incredible video ad campaigns on our platform we have gotten a sneak peek into the secret stash of other tools that the most successful advertisers are using to create killer video content. There are many approaches and tools that we see marketers use every day to effectively make great videos, we’ve organized them by ease (which usually aligns with cost). But we promise you this - no matter who you are, where you are, and how much you’ve got to spend on video, there is a way to make a great one (and we can get it seen by the right people.)

Approach #1: Self Production aka Get the App

Yep, it’s so easy, you can do it on your phone (hell, the new iPhone shoots 4k). This is great option if you’re not afraid to bust out the phone and get dirty. You will be in control - and you can use these great apps to weave those video clips into a final video ad like a pro.

Animoto is probably our favorite right now. It’s a great option that has specific packages for businesses, education, real estate, and more. Magisto is another great one that offers a plethora of video examples to get your inspiration on. Finally, Videolicious is a fantastic tool built specifically for businesses and optimized for iOS and Android apps (with a web dashboard for team review and management). All this and these options start at $5 per month. Boom.

Approach #2: Quick Desktop Video & Animation

So maybe you have huge fingers that hit every button on your phone, or you get dinged for being on your phone at work, or maybe you simply like working with a bigger screen. All fair points. There are plenty of options that don’t require you to become a full fledged film editor, while allowing you to create badass videos on your computer - using images, video clips, or even animation to get your story across. And in this world of emojis, we are all appreciative of a simple, well done animation to express a message.

Killer outfits like Wideo and Moovly make creating animated content crazy simple. They offer templates, step-by-step instruction and allow you to brand your video with your own logo, images, and music as needed. If you are after a more templated video option that gives great guidance while also allowing for personalization, a lot of our users are liking Shakr. They have a huge variety of styles powered by professionally sourced stock footage. No joke, all of these are drag-and-drop easy to do and start around $9 a month. So, throw on some huge headphones, saddle up to your computer and get your video director swagger on. animation.png

Appraoch #3: Call in the Pros aka Production Companies

Ok, so you want a video, but you are less interested in creating your own. We don’t judge. There are thousands of amazing video producers out there who love working with small businesses and fit into a small budget. Of course the understanding of “small budget” varies, but having a pro on your side is sometimes the best option. We are constantly impressed and humbled by the hundreds of video pro’s we meet at Visibl. Without exception, this group of badasses, whether freelancers or larger organizations, live to inspire. Lumenati in Denver, M ss ng p eces in Brooklyn, Silent G Productions in Boulder, and Elevator Enterainment in Australia (we could go on) are great examples of this passion for video storytelling. You can also check out sites like ProductionHub for recommendations. Since this option has left the realm of DIY, it’s more pricey, somewhere between hundreds and thousands depending on your needs, and totally worth it if you are looking for professional polish and less work on your plate.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about sourcing or making video content. It is about revealing your passion through video to a worldwide audience who’s waiting to discover and support you. We can help get you started, come say hello

There are no more excuses. It’s time we ride.
