Like many major metros, the Denver metro suffered as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Companies shuttered offices, restaurants and businesses closed, but despite the area’s woes, RevGen Partners, a technology consulting firm founded in 2008, still believes the Denver metro is a bustling tech hub and is moving its headquarters there in the coming year.

On Wednesday, the company announced that it will relocate its headquarters from Centennial to downtown Denver in Q1 of 2023. The relocation was in part finalized through a partnership with the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.

“While the Metro Denver EDC works to recruit out-of-state companies to Colorado, much of our effort actually centers on supporting the growth of local organizations,” Raymond H. Gonzales, president of the Metro Denver EDC, said in a statement. “As RevGen has evolved over the years, they’ve realized that Metro Denver is a part of who they are and offers the perfect place to continue operating their business, growing their team and planning for the future.”

RevGen hires all sorts of tech talent including data scientists, software engineers, platform architects and customer consultants, and helps Fortune 500 and mid-market companies offer better technology solutions and services. With the move, RevGen is looking to generate some 200 new jobs over the coming years.

The new HQ will also offer RevGen employees easy access to a physical office space. According to the company, its new HQ is easily accessible to Union Station and the airport, making it easy for employees to commute into the office and for clients to visit the office.

“As we plan for RevGen’s future, downtown Denver is an obvious fit for our new headquarters,” RevGen CEO Kirk Mielenz said in a statement. “The tremendous investment going into downtown’s status as a vibrant center for business, dining, culture, and entertainment is a big draw. The very purpose of offices is rapidly evolving and we are excited to build a space that will be a desirable and accessible place for our employees, clients, and community to collaborate and connect.”
