Naked Wines’ direct-to-consumer wine subscription service connects wine drinkers to independent winemakers. The company advertises savings of up to 60 percent per bottle.

Naked Wines plans to tap into the Denver workforce with expertise in data analytics, marketing and engineering. Naked Wines CEO Nick Devlin said in a statement that the local office will allow the company to “connect directly with a vibrant talent pool and give us the access to the skills we need to share our better way to wine with drinkers across the country.”

Naked Wines also considered Seattle for its new office. The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade successfully wooed the company by pledging up to $4.3 million in job growth incentive tax credits over an 8-year period. The funding is contingent upon Naked Wines meeting its job creation goals.
