Rogue Wave Software gets acquired by Perforce
Louisville-based Rogue Wave Software was bought by Perforce Software on Wednesday in a sale made by Rogue Wave’s parent company Audax Private Equity. Rogue Wave delivers software, tools and tech services that help enterprises around the world build, connect to and secure applications. Sphero launches Kickstarter campaign to fund new programmable RVR robot
On Tuesday, educational robotics company Sphero launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of its newest robot, the Sphero RVR. The company has already more than doubled its goal of raising $150,000 — with 28 days still to go. Sphero RVR touts itself as the “go anywhere, do anything programmable robot.” The all-terrain robot, which runs on the company’s Sphero Edu app, can be programmed right out of the box and customized using third-party hardware like Raspberry Pi, BBC micro:bit or Arduino. Glasgow-based startup Spoonfed to open Denver office following $750K investment
Catering management software company Spoonfed, which is headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, announced this week that it plans to open a second U.S. office right here in Denver. News of the company’s continued international expansion comes alongside the close of a $750,000 round of development funding from Equity Gap. The company plans to nearly double its team by the end of the year, adding software engineers to its Glasgow headquarters and building out a customer support team in Denver. Flowhub fuels expansions with the addition of Dave Smith as CRO
Denver cannatech startup Flowhub added Dave Smith as its new CRO to lead — and accelerate — its continued expansion into dispensaries around the country. Smith joins the team from Convercent, where he grew revenue 500 percent in the three and a half years he spent there as EVP of sales. His experience at Convercent, which offers risk-based compliance software, gives him unique insight into both the SaaS and compliance industries.
