Bio: Subsentio delivers affordable electronic surveillance solutions to service providers and law enforcement agencies.

4. Lightwave Logic: $1.56 Million, June 2th
Bio: Our polymer technology will make possible new market segments for applications as diverse as optical computing, all-optical switching and image recognition that have heretofore been only theoretical.
3. Levels Beyond: $2 Million, June 25th
Investors: TVC Capital
Bio: Levels Beyond’s Reach Engine is the foundation of any video production environment, integrating the industry’s leaders in content editing, transcoding, and delivery solutions to create a seamless automated workflow process.
2. Sphero: $45 Million, June 3rd
Investors: Mercato Partners & Disney
Bio: Sphero is focused on bringing a new concept of fun through robotics and phone-controlled open devices. Their first product, Sphero, uses Orbotix’s API to create the first robotic ball gaming device controlled by your smartphone.
News: Sphero has been riding a wave of interest after it was announced that the new BB-8 drone featured in the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens' movie is powered by their technology.
1. Layer3 TV: $47.78 Million, June 3rd
Investors: North Bridge Venture Partners, Evolution Media Partners and 8 others.
Bio: Layer3 TV is a next generation cable provider spearheading a new era of home media, combining the best of television, social, and digital life.
News: Despite Layer3 TV’s large funding rounds, the company remains in stealth and has been very quiet about what they’re up to.
