Lead design, development, integration, and test of spacecraft optical communications subsystems (Lasercom). Manage vendors, define requirements and interfaces, perform analysis (link budgets, uncertainty), oversee hardware delivery and verification, report cost/schedule/technical status, lead IPT activities, support commissioning/operations, and produce technical documentation and presentations.

Design and develop state-of-the-art optical systems for airborne and space instruments, lead optical sub-system development and alignment, procure and validate optical components, perform hands-on hardware work and analysis, contribute to proposals/RFIs/white papers, present at design reviews, and collaborate across disciplines.
