The Strategic Technical Account Manager at DigitalOcean will manage technical relationships with key clients, drive strategic alignment sessions, provide technical consultation, and advocate for customer needs within the organization.

Serve as the top technical escalation for complex database and cloud infrastructure issues. Architect enterprise-grade database solutions, lead hands-on support for MySQL/Postgres/Redis/MongoDB, optimize performance, run workshops and proofs-of-concept, mentor junior engineers, create documentation and runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure customer success and platform reliability.

Partner with strategic customers to design and optimize cloud architectures, provide technical consultation and workshops, drive retention and expansion, resolve escalations with engineering, deliver presentations and documentation, develop automation tooling, and advocate customer needs to improve product and support.
