Are you excited to pursue a career in sales and grow #withGusto? We’ll train you with the skills needed to be a successful salesperson (using the Sandler Sales Methodology) and Gusto product expert. This role is designed as the entry point into the Gusto sales organization. Our goal with this role is to give you the tools, training, and technical knowledge necessary to advance your career within the sales organization, learning our products and articulating their value.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Serving as the first touchpoint with prospects to field sales inquiries and technical questions; Calling new users to help them sign up, onboard, and run their first payroll with Gusto!
- The Inbound Small Business Sales role consists of 70% customer service (onboarding) and 30% selling
- Communicating our vision to customers through email, chat, and phone and working with them to set up their account
- Proactively identifying and resolving customer issues to drive conversion
- Building strong relationships with your colleagues and effectively collaborating with the product, support, and marketing teams
- Making our customers successful by introducing them to the right Gusto products, services, and integrations to fit their needs
Here’s what we're looking for:
- 2020 Graduate (Bachelor or Associate degree)
- Able to start full-time in June 2020 (Denver, CO)
- Track record of going the extra mile and/or overachieving when given a job or opportunity
- A consummate team player who enjoys wearing multiple hats and inspiring everyone around you to do great work
- Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
- Excitement and commitment to growing your sales career at Gusto
- Genuine passion for helping small business owners and setting them up for success, every day
Extra Credit:
- Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRMs
- Experience working with customers via phone, email, or chat
- Experience with SMBs, payroll, benefits, or financial services
