THE TEAM
Vivian Health is the leading jobs marketplace in healthcare and a rapidly growing disruptor in healthcare hiring. Our sales team is responsible for helping us to develop and grow new relationships. Sales is specifically focused on growing our relationships with hospitals and health systems. We work cross functionally with teams such as product, operations, and marketing.
This role will be the leader for our emerging Hospital & Health Systems business line and will play a critical part in Vivian’s future. This role will require a mix of developing and leading a sales team, while also stepping in to sell and close deals where necessary. This is a great leadership opportunity in a fast-paced, growing organization.
THE ROLE
- Develop and communicate the overall vision of the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategy
- Coordinate the development of key performance goals for different verticals and direct reports
- Own the sales team performance across Vivian’s various lines of business and work with a variety of employers hiring healthcare professionals
- Build, foster and maintain key strategic relationships within prospect accounts, including senior leaders at some of the nation’s largest health systems and staffing agencies
- Develop and execute successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in key markets
- Work internally with executive leadership to accurately forecast revenue and sales goals
- Work cross functionally to drive product, process, and GTM improvements to help support the sales effort and customer experience
- Oversee key hiring and talent development programs, including growing the sales managers/directors
THE SKILLSET
- 8+ years of experience in technology and/or healthcare sales, with 3+ years in leadership
- Extensive knowledge of the healthcare hiring landscape, including an understanding of hospital & healthcare system stakeholder personas, customer objectives, and purchasing processes.
- Outstanding track record of achieving/exceeding revenue goals/quota
- Ability to present a value proposition to prospects that is clear and compelling
- Ability to recruit and manage sales leaders and to help design incentive structures for high-performing inbound and outbound sales teams
- Proven ability to accurately forecast and manage the sales pipeline from initial lead to close
- Highly motivated and result driven self-starter and problem solve who operates with a sense of urgency and values accountability
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams internally to drive process and product improvements
- Startup and/or marketplace experience a plus
