Vendor Market Development Specialist
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- 1. Supports Pax8 marketing and vendor success and business development management by:
- a. Tracking and managing spending/funding allocated by vendors for specific Pax8 marketing programs, including issuing statements of work and managing invoicing
- b. Supporting project management of use of vendor MDF funds and specific projects where appropriate
- c. Participating in vendor meetings to gather requirements and report on progress
- d. Acting as the subject matter expert on funding requirements for vendors
- 2.Collaborates with vendor marketing and vendor success leadership to develop overall marketing plans for use of vendor MDF funds
- 3.Creates and manages reporting processes by:
- a. Submitting MDF claims with vendors that require proof-of-execution or performance documentation
- b. Collecting campaign information to develop presentations for quarterly business reviews with vendors
- c. Deliver monthly forecast, spend and timeline reporting to marketing and vendor success leadership
- 4. Collaborates with Vendor Success Managers to keep internal stakeholders and partners up to date and aware of new incentives, rebates, and MDF offerings from vendors:
- a. Develops and maintains a vendor MDF resource library for partners, inclusive of availability and recommendations for execution
- 5. Works with internal vendor success team on MDF campaigns and partner programs:
- a. Work closely with internal vendor success/marketing on vendor spiffs/promos to align with MDF GTM strategy
- b. Bring vendor partner program perks and resources to Pax8 partners
- c. Project manages the MDF program from SOW to invoicing to claiming with POE
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least three (3) years of experience in channel sales, partner development, business development, and/or alliance management in the technology marketing industry
- Expertise in channel marketing and market development funds preferred
- High-level project management and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to create new and better ways for the organization to be successful
- Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
- Ability to interpret and apply understanding of key financial indicators to make better decisions

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.S./B.A. degree in related field; or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $58,000 or more depending on experience
