A GALLERY M Specialist (Sales Consultant) is a diverse, culturally-aware, computer literate, and sales-focused individual. Your professional experience in sales and academic background can be broad but your sales focus will be committed to advancing the company's stature professionally.

 

Our top closers obtain a long-term income by developing a client base interested in rare assets, specifically fine art and real estate.  For the arts, we offer over 30 international, national and emerging artists who are leaders in their fields for you to market and sell. Unlike other luxury retailers and fine art galleries, we are continuously evolving with new offerings for both our on and offline collectors. Currently, you can increase your income by offering our marketing and sales services to qualified collectors and fine artists, photographers, and sculptors on and offline. An interest in alternative asset sales is a must, specifically real estate and digital assets.

 

The ideal candidate will be motivated and able to achieve tangible results in sales on a commission basis.  You should be a motivated, self-directed, and team-oriented professional. Your work history is important to us but your future results are what matter.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Prospect by phone, in person, or digitally for future clients
  • Reach monthly sales goals
  • Sell our main category offerings to an assigned group of prospects and collectors
  • Market and sell our fine art advertising opportunities for gallerym.com properties.
  • Market and sell gallerym.com promotion services oriented for collectors, fine artists, photographers, and sculptors.
  • Work with other team members to qualify and quantify sales leads and maintain sales records.

 

Marketing Implementation

  • Manage online marketing campaigns designed for new client nurturing.
  • Monitor online leads and generate a feasible prospect list using internal reporting techniques.
  • Schedule Activities and Maintain Shared Calendars
  • Maintain Performance Report Status

 

Team Contributions:

  • Scan support documents for internal department reporting and use
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and scheduled calls
  • Support other sales team members to grow overall company performance.

 

Exhibitions:

  • Promote and sell during special events locally and nationally
  • Participate in special selling exhibits digitally and, when allowed, in person
  • Provide Event and Show support in person, digitally, and remotely

 

 

Online:

  • Periodically update Website with current works and content
  • Create and manage online email campaigns
  • Digitally scan, photograph, and edit new offerings
  • Contribute to GALLERY M online experience via social platforms
  • Quarterly contribute to our internationally read newsletter.
  • Reliance on Cloud connectivity for client and team updates
  • Track results through online channels and platforms

 

Computer and Mobile Skills Required:

  • Remotely & Professionally work from home
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Online sales closing skills using email, phone, and social platforms
  • Sales CRM effectiveness with Zendesk/BASE/Salesforce
  • Photoshop expertise
  • Drive, Sheets, Excel, and Word competency
  • Zoom and Digital Document Sharing Excellence

 

Qualifications:

  • BA or BFA and at least 3-5 years equivalent business experience required.
  • Experience in marketing/communications, public relations preferred; experience/knowledge of the business of Real Estate, Photography and/or Film a plus
  • Auction experience (desired)
  • Excellent people skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office/GOOGLE for Work applications necessary and high proficiency in Excel a plus.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual, along with being flexible handling ambiguity in job role and function
  • The ability to manage varied tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize, be versatile and adaptable to change/agile, as well as organized, detail-oriented, and professional.

  • Ability to work from home and when required travel locally, regionally, and nationally
  • Ability to work on-site in compliance with current public health requirements
