Sales Operations Manager

In this brand-new role at Gloo, you will build the operational function within our Revenue team that will help shift our focus from a direct first model to programmatic first sales model. In the near term, you’ll be helping us shift our selling behaviors to become more metric driven, building analytics to measure revenue growth and taking a leadership role in process optimization for all functions that drive revenue as we scale. Long term, you’ll play a key role defining the sales and revenue growth strategy through market intelligence as well as building your team. Your experience as an outcomes-driven Sales Operations Manager in a high growth programmatic SaaS company is what we are looking for to add to our team. How you’ll spend your days:
- Driving growth in the programmatic motion of the business through the optimization and automation of processes, systems and revenue strategy
- Building, measuring and evaluating the defined key metrics for the Revenue organization
- Orchestrating operational reviews & forecast discipline across Marketing, Sales and Support
- Working with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support and Systems to develop sustainable and scalable processes and systems
- Facilitating and delivering training and enablement for new products, features and markets
- Establishing long-term strategies for building a team, market intelligence and revenue growth
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline
- 8+ years managing revenue growth programs with demonstrated results
- Experience working in a programmatic SaaS platform company during their high growth stage
- A strategic thinker and tactical executor – you can plan the path and then make it happen
- Growth mindset; willing and able to be creative and innovative to support and drive growth
- Strong leadership development skills, the ability to attract, retain and mentor top-level talent forging high-performing and cohesive teams
- Exceptionally organized and superbly detailed – nothing escapes your eagle eye
